I’m a city girl. This is where I grew up. This is where I live, and work, and love. It might not be the trendiest part of town, but it flows in my veins.
I’m wearing my primOptic donna glasses. They are a part of me. Just like this city.

I have been very busy over the last couple of days rolling out the latest script update for all primOptic eyewear. Actually, there were two updates. A small bug in version 1.18 prompted me to make 1.19 faster than I planned, so here it is. Version 1.19 introduces the following features:
Now for the cool part: all updates for primOptic eyewear products are free, even if you still have an old 1.5 version. If you are one the lucky few to have version 1.18, just wear your glasses and you will get version 1.19 automatically. If not, then follow these steps:
Once you have received the update, delete the old glasses. If you have any problems with the update script, just send me an IM and we’ll sort it out…
Who cares if they are real diamonds, strass or just tiny prims, these are the new primOptic bijou glasses because every starlette needs a glamourous pair of precious-stone-studded sunglasses.
Of course, as with all primOptic glasses, you can enable and disable bling and change the frame and lense colours. My opinion is that these work best in bright candy colours for the ultimate girly look.
I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoyed making them.
My sunglasses are like a trusty companion. I have carried them with me from Japan to Malawi and from Uruguay to Norway. I have worn them at embassy cocktails and on dusty mountain tracks. The things I have seen through them…
We’ve been through a lot together, my primOptic monza glasses and I, and this is only the start of the journey.
Who exactly was the girl sitting on that shaded bench in the park? Was she waiting for a friend or for a lover or was she just lost in her thoughts? I didn’t dare to speak to her but I will never forget her eyes…
Introducing primOptic adria glasses.
One of my all-time most popular men’s shades has been the o-band model. They were designed for the fashion-conscious sportsman, ideal for those who spend lots of time outside in the hot sun. However, for some obscure reason, the tiny prims that were used to make the single-piece lens never worked correctly with the latest low-lag colour changing script, leaving the o-band stuck with old versions of the menu scripts.
Well, o-band owners, rejoice! I have finally got around updating your favorite sunglasses with a special version of the latest script. You can now enjoy all the latest features of the primOptic eyewear range: custom colors, textures and the teleport history feature.
To upgrade your primoptic o-band glasses to version 1.17, shoot off an IM in my general direction.
I was lucky this summer to spend several days in Italy, and something that struck me enormously was the way the Italians wear their sunglasses as a firm statement of their personality. This gave me some inspiration for the two new primOptic models that I’m proud to introduce today: carat and porsh.

Both of these sunglasses carry functional and sporty designs that convey a very distinctive fashion statement. Italian style.
Let’s start with some bad news. After nearly 3 years of loyal service and extreme precaution, the in-world update server for all primOptic products was accidentally returned and lost its UUID. This means that the Update button on all primOptic products will no longer work.
The good news is that I’m working on a new system for product updates, which should be much more robust. In the meantime, the latest version for all primOptic glasses is 1.17. If you have an earlier version, please contact me and I’ll send you a free update.
Incidentally, the gift certificate server is also broken. Therefore, if you have any unredeemed primOptic gift certificates, send them back to me and I will happiliy replace them with new ones. New gift certificates are not affected.
Finally, I figured it was time that primOptic had its own little space on the intertubes. The point of this blog is to keep you informed about exciting new eyewear products from primOptic, as well as special offers, updates, and maybe some other miscellanea that might crop up in my deranged mind…
I’m still working on the template and graphics, so it might seem a little crude here and there, but here it is folks, I hope you enjoy it.
